Awards and Achievements
At Corpus Christi we put huge emphasis on participation and enjoyment. However, we also celebrate the awards and achievements of our wonderful students. From sporting success to green flags to film awards, there is always something to celebrate and praise in our school.
Active Schools Flag
Corpus Christi is an Active School and we have been awarded an Active Schools Flag. We always strive to have our children participating in as many sports as possible and offer many sports through our in-school PE curriculum, as well as engaging outside agencies and coaches to provide other sports. Our infant classes engage in Fundamental Movement Skills on the yard and we have worked with Marathon Kids Ireland in running the Daily Mile.
Plaque for STEM winner
To gain the award we had to actively involve all classes in the learning processes of: investigations, using ICT and maths, trips, speaker visits, presenting at or attending the science open day in the school or other events.
We are now working towards our Badge of Excellence.
Fresh Film Festival Winners
We have been lucky enough to win many awards at The Fresh Film Awards over the years. Our most recent award was the "Radharc Trust Award" for the short film "The Streets of Limerick" in the 2022 competition.
